I typically use Google Meet for initial consultations. For sessions I use TheraPlatform, a practice and electronic health records management system with a built-in video conferencing platform, designed specifically for telehealth and online psychotherapeutic practice.

All of our sessions and communication are in compliance with HIPAA regulations and best practices. This means that your personal health information, or PHI, is protected and confidential. If you wish to find out more about HIPAA, please click here.

My standard session rate is $150 per 50 min session, payable via Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, and Health Savings Account. I do have limited spots for a sliding scale on a case by case basis.

I accept the following insurance plans:

  • Aetna
  • Blue Cross Blue Shield

Once we agree to work together, I will email you a link to set up your username and password for your online therapy room. At that time you will be asked to read and sign online my practice documentation that describes the services provided, session costs, how your information is protected, and termination of services. You will also be asked for standard demographics information and to fill out a simple intake form. We will not be able to hold sessions until they are completed.

You will also be required to fill out Stripe payment function with your credit card information. This will be the card that I charge at the end of day after the session for session payments, insurance copays, and no show fees. Note: for security purposes I never see your credit card information on my end; I only see if you have activated the payment function.

If you are using insurance, I will require photocopies (smartphone pics are fine) of the front and back of your insurance card and your date of birth. NOTE: if you are not the primary person on the insurance plan, please provide the primary’s name, address, date of birth, home or mobile phone number, and an email address.

You will get an email reminder 10 minutes prior of your session appointment. You will have the option to enter the session via hyperlink in the email, via copying the URL from the email and pasting it into your browser, or via logging in to your online therapy room.
